Chris and Vicky would like to welcome you to Towsers Country Kennels. We are the proud new owners of Towsers and we are excited to make your Dog’s stay with us extra special.
Please read the following privacy policy carefully which explains how Towsers Kennels deals with any personal data collected from you during the course of visiting our website, or collected from you during the course of enquiries, making a booking or completing a booking form at the time of dropping off your dog/s with us.
* Initial information may be collected through contact with Towsers Kennels via telephone, e-mail or visiting our website.
* Personal information taken at the time of a provisional booking.
* Further information taken at the start of any dog’s visit to kennels, to include third party information, regarding the safety of your dog whilst in our care.
All personal information is recorded on a data base which is not internet linked.
Details are also recorded manually, which are not accessible to any third party.
Any information sent to us via the internet cannot be guaranteed as being totally secure, therefore sending such information is entirely at your own risk.
Personal details relating to both the individual and their pet will be stored securely for the lifetime of that dog or, if the customer doesn’t use the kennels for a period of three years, all details will then be erased after three years.
Personal details which appear on booking forms are also stored for a period of three years as per HMRC guidance.
Your personal information may be used in the following ways:
* to allow us to carry out our obligation to you and your pet according to the contract entered into at time of booking
* to allow us to contact you with regard to any change of information which may effect your future use of our kennels
* to allow you to make use of any interactive features on our website
* to allow us to inform you of any vaccinations or other medical requirements needed prior to your dog’s visit
* to allow us to engage a third party regarding the health and welfare of your dog, should the need arise during it’s visit with us
Your details will never be disclosed to a third party for the purposes of providing you with any information regarding services or products, either by telephone or e-mail
Your details will not be disclosed to any third party as a means of making a personal contact regarding either yourself or your dog
Your details will never be passed to any individuals or companies for the purpose of advertising
We may disclose personal information in the following circumstances:
* in the event of any illness or accident which results in a third party taking control of the kennels for any length of time
* in the event that the business is sold to a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets
* if we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our terms of use or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers, or others.This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction
We will ask whether you agree to having images of your dog displayed on a social media page (Facebook) solely used for kennel visitors and friends to view.
Should you wish to reserve the right not to allow any such images to be used you must make this clear at the time of leaving your dog in our care.
This information will be stored and adhered to until such time as you wish to change your decision. You have the right to ask us not to use any information we have been given for any marketing or advertising purposes.
It may be necessary from time to time to make changes to this policy, we would therefore advise you to check it periodically.
