A perfect holiday home for your dog

Here at Towsers we have everything you and your dog could wish for in a perfect holiday home for your treasured family member. From the minute they walk in the door to the moment they step back out to greet you after their holiday they will have had the best of fun and will go home contented, possibly tired after meeting and greeting new friends, with endless playtime, clean, freshly laundered bedding and a clean, well groomed dog.

Comfortable bedrooms

We know sometimes how hard it is to leave your beloved pet in someone else’s care and here at Towsers we try to go the extra mile with the comfort of your pet foremost in our minds.  We have now designed all the bedrooms with individual feature coloured walls, to give just a little more of that essential ‘home-from-home’ feeling.

The bedroom has a tiled floor with underfloor heating for cooler days and nights, a full sized door leading out onto the covered tiled run. Both bedroom and run have gripper mats for extra comfort. We also encourage as much from home as you wish to bring, the bedrooms and runs are large and can easily accommodate a plethora of toys, beds, crates etc., in fact whatever you feel is appropriate to help your dog settle in and make the most of their holiday with us.

Wonderful location and surroundings

The kennels look out across a stream into a small spinney with fields beyond, where an abundance of wildlife will keep your pet entertained for those times when they are relaxing and chilling in their runs, or bedrooms.

Leading directly out from the kennel corridor are our two fully fenced fields for free running, playing with friends and generally having a good long leg stretch.

In addition to the fields we also have two high, security fenced play paddocks, with a sandpit, countless toys and trees for lying under on hot days. We also have a small agility course for those dogs who enjoy a bit of disciplined exercise!

Daily routine

Daily Routine starts at 7am with morning walks and Breakfast. Once Breakfast has got down we are back out for walks around 4/5 times throughout the Day.

Our walks consist of playtime in our new enrichment area, playing with friends in the field and lots of cuddles.

Tea Time is scheduled around 6pm with a short toilet break, then our Final Walk is at about 9.30 just before a Nightime Treat and Bedtime.

Feeding

We encourage you to bring your dogs food to reduce upsetting their little tummies, however we do provide an excellent Kibble and Meat which would suit most palates. Puppies and Special Diets must provide food as we do not want to upset their delicate tummies. Our Food can be provided at a cost of £2 per day.

We do that little bit extra

When the day is done and your pet is looking forward to going home we will clean and launder the bedding and we offer a wash and brush up in our groom room, so not only will the bedding go home clean and sweet smelling, so will your best friend!

Medication administration

We are happy to administer medication and any special diets are catered for.

Expert puppy care

Puppies are a speciality here at Towsers, so we offer extra special care and attention for those young puppies who need their first visits to kennels to be so enjoyable that they will come back to us time and time again looking forward to the serious business of playing, being pampered and cuddled.

24 mini break

24hr mini breaks are offered to all new customers.

It gives your pet a tiny introduction to kennel life, it allows us to asses and give the owner an honest appraisal on collection the following morning and it gives our new owners complete peace of mind when leaving their dog for the longer holiday.

We hope and generally find, that they come bounding back in to us with waggy tails, keen to get on with the business of playing and socialising!
